Today’s labor market looks different than it did in the early 2000s. What we are seeing is a more knowledge-intensive society characterized by technological changes and digitalization. The high
pace of transition and mobility in the labour market means that more people must be able and dare to change professions later in life. We are in the digital age where new needs in the labour market are being born. For example, phenomena such as gig jobs have arisen, that is, short and temporary employment. In the digital age, lifelong learning and staying employable are essential.

Staying employable means that you have the professional qualifications that are in demand, that you can put your skills into practice. Being employable also means that you have the drive to want to develop. That you look at life as a continuous learning and that you are not  content. In our time, it is impossible to learn for life. For this reason, we all need an ability to be prescient and adaptable where we can value what is viable and developable in our careers.

You are now embarking on a career and performance programme aimed at reflection on your competencies, values, abilities and driving forces. Achievement and insight into one’s career profile go hand in hand, i.e. the more you understand yourself and your skills, the clearer it will be to you and others what you need to perform well. This applies to both you who are reviewing your internal development and you who are in the starting blocks for a new
job. Using your new insights, you can elevate your employability and enable learning

Now begins an exciting journey!
